Postdoctoral Researcher - Intrinsically Disordered Proteins

Job DescriptionThe Sukenik lab is looking for a postdoctoral researcher to lead efforts linking ensemble structure to function in intrinsically disordered proteins. The work will involve the development of new, high‑throughput experimental methods to profile structure and function of disordered proteins in pooled experiments.
Qualifications- A Ph.D. in Biophysics, Biochemistry, Molecular / Cell biology or closely related field is required.
- Prior publication record in computational protein biophysics is required.
- The successful candidate will have a strong background in biochemistry, molecular biophysics, molecular biology, or similar fields.
- Expertise includes but is not limited to protein expression and purification, cell and tissue culture, cloning, and next‑gen sequencing.
- A good candidate should also have strong verbal and written communication skills, be a strong and collegial team player, embrace open science policies including preprint publications, and be enthusiastic about learning new skills and methods.
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments.
- Mentor graduate and undergraduate students.
- Write manuscripts and fellowships, design posters, and assist in grant writing.
- Attend conferences and workshops.
