Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Orthopedics position in Syracuse, NY, requiring 3+ years of acute care experience and a valid NY RN license.

Job Details

• Position is located on a 140-bed Medical/Surgical Orthopedic unit (6 South),

• Unit serves as a fast-paced ortho unit with med/surg overflow,

• Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts),

• Every other weekend required,

• No blocked scheduling,

• Nurse-to-patient ratio on nights is 1:5-6,

• Charting is done via Epic,

• Any color scrubs permitted,

Job Requirements

• Active and clear NY RN license required,

• Current BLS certification required,

• Minimum 3 years of acute care Med/Surg experience required,

• Orthopedic nursing experience required,

• Epic EMR experience strongly preferred,

• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate rather than the travel rate,
