Dates of Coverage: would like to start someone around August or ASAP!

Shift: Weekend coverage for 12- or 24-hour shifts.

Practice Setting: NICU Level III

Paid Mal Practice, Housing, Rental Car or Mileage, Flight/Travel and MUCH MORE!

• Provide care in a NICU Level III setting on weekend 12- or 24-hour shifts.
• Supervise RNs and other ancillary staff as needed, but not other NNPs.
• Work with 3 full-time neonatologists who provide daytime coverage; on-call availability 24 hours as specified.

• Describe Support Staff:
  Neonatologist present during the day and on call available 24 hours otherwise.
• Documentation System/EMR: EPIC.
• Average Number of Admissions Per Day: 0-2 per shift.
• Total Number of Beds: 16-bed NICU unit; 16 bed unit coverage with well-baby concerns only during night shift.
• Will need to attend C-sections and cover Level I (Well-Baby) Nursery as part of coverage.

• Board Certified – Neonatology / NICU PA – REQUIRED.
• Active NY License – REQUIRED.
• Must have experience and be comfortable managing patients independently – REQUIRED.
• Neonatal required procedures include NICU/NICU Level III care, ventilation management (invasive and non-invasive), ETT, chest tubes, UAC/UVC placement, LPs, central and arterial line insertions, and related evaluations/therapies.
