Position: RN – Oncology / Med-Surg (Telemetry)

Shift: Night Shift | 3×12 Hours (19:00 – 07:00)
Unit: Adult Oncology / Med-Surg

We are seeking experienced night-shift travel Registered Nurses for Adult Oncology and Med-Surg Telemetry units. The ideal candidate will have strong oncology and acute care experience, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult Oncology and Med-Surg patients in an acute care setting.
• Perform thorough nursing assessments and deliver patient-centered care with minimal supervision.
• Initiate IVs, draw labs, administer medications, and monitor telemetry.
• Manage complex oncology patients and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR.
• Work every other weekend and 2 out of 3 major seasonal holidays.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, quality care, and professional practice.
• Active New York State RN License.
• BLS Certification (must be current and eligible for recertification).
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience (within the past 2 years).
• Required Oncology experience.
• Experience in hospitals of similar or larger size or trauma centers.
• Strong IV, lab draw, and telemetry monitoring skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Level I or Level II Trauma Center experience.
• Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records.
