$30,000.00 - $60,000.00

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. You will provide comprehensive care to patients with heart-related conditions and work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests
• Collaborate with cardiologists to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular conditions
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Conduct cardiac stress tests, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and other diagnostic procedures
• Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, preventive measures, and the importance of medication adherence
• Provide counseling and emotional support to patients and their families
• Knowledge of CMS Regulations and NCQA HEDIS Guidelines
• Document accurate medical records to ensure compliance with OSHA and Government regulations and perform duties in accordance with site quality and safety systems
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
• Analyze and organize the care of critically complex patients

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license
• DEA license
• CPR/BLS certified
• Master's Degree in Nursing
• Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Preferred experience in cardiology (training provided)
• Preferred experience in documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.; training provided)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand/walk/work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day
