Position Overview:
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse to join an Emergency Department team at Torrance, CA, a Magnet-designated facility recognized for clinical excellence and superior patient care. - Work Schedule:
- Full-time, Night Shift
- 12-hour shifts
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN) minimum;
Graduation from an accredited nursing program. - Licensure:
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Active BLS, ACLS and PALS certification from the American Heart Association
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an RN in an acute care/hospital environment
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an RN in a dedicated Emergency Department (hospital setting, excludes clinicals/training/other units).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in emergency nursing procedures, rapid response protocols, and patient assessment.
- Soft Skills: Collaborative, adaptable, compassionate, strong critical thinking, effective communication, patient/family education, emotional support.
- Preferred: National Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN or equivalent) upon hire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the Emergency Department.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Respond rapidly and effectively to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies and protocols.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families.
