Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse to join an Emergency Department team at Torrance, CA, a Magnet-designated facility recognized for clinical excellence and superior patient care. • Work Schedule:
  • Full-time, Night Shift
  • 12-hour shifts

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN) minimum;
  Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Licensure:
  • Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Active BLS, ACLS and PALS certification from the American Heart Association
• Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an RN in an acute care/hospital environment
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an RN in a dedicated Emergency Department (hospital setting, excludes clinicals/training/other units).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in emergency nursing procedures, rapid response protocols, and patient assessment.
• Soft Skills: Collaborative, adaptable, compassionate, strong critical thinking, effective communication, patient/family education, emotional support.
• Preferred: National Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN or equivalent) upon hire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Respond rapidly and effectively to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies and protocols.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families.
• Uphold the mission and values of Providence by caring for all, especially the most vulnerable.
