CNC Machinist, Machine Operator, Manufacturing Engineer
Our client is seeking to add several CNC Machinists to their team in the Greater Syracuse, NY area. The CNC Machinist is responsible for the precision machining of complex parts produced through additive manufacturing. This role requires interpreting advanced technical blueprints and CAD files to expertly set up, operate, and monitor CNC mills, lathes, and other machinery. The CNC Machinist will ensure components are manufactured to exacting specifications by performing precise dimensional inspections, proactively troubleshooting machine issues, and optimizing machining procedures for improved efficiency and adaptability
ESSENTIAL DUTIESHigh school diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, and machining centers (e.g., HAAS or similar controls);
Demonstrated expertise in reading and interpreting complex blueprints and CAD files, including a strong working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing);
Proficiency with precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, digital indicators, and gauges;
Strong computer skills with experience in G-code editing and CAM software;
Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve machining issues, strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective team collaboration are required.
Projected Compensation: $28.00 to $35.00 hourly
