Job DescriptionJob Title: Foundry Equipment Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift)
Location: Syracuse, NY (Relocation assistance available within the U.S.)

Compensation: $81,000 annually ($39.04/hour)
Shift: Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Role OverviewSupport the maintenance and repair of automated foundry production equipment. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to ensure safe, reliable operations on second shift.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical malfunctions on foundry equipment
- Inspect machine sequences, identify failures, and restore equipment to manufacturer specifications
- Modify, repair, and pipe water, air, gas, oil, and related systems as required
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and shop orders
- Test, adjust, and validate equipment performance following repairs
- Generate and work from shop orders as needed
- Operate forklifts and manage materials from the maintenance tool crib
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety regulations
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience
- AC/DC electrical theory
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Plumbing, piping, and close-tolerance machine repair
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Understanding of machine sequencing, pressure, flow, and dimensional relationships
