Job Role
Foundry Equipment Maintenance – 2nd shift, Full Time, Syracuse, NY.
Work Hours2:30 pm–11:00 pm, Monday–Friday.
Relocation AssistanceUnited States.
Qualifications- High school diploma.
- 3 + years industrial mechanical maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of DC and AC electrical theory; pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing and piping repair theory and practice.
- Experience with measuring instruments, machine operation evaluation (pressure, flow, dimensions).
- Diagnose and correct electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical malfunctions on automated foundry production equipment.
- Check machine operation sequence, determine malfunction type, make repairs, readjust instruments and test to manufacturer standards.
- Alter, repair, adjust and/or pipe water, air, gas, oil to meet equipment specifications.
- Generate shop orders if required.
- Work from shop orders, blueprints, schematics, operational manuals, verbal information, and manufacturer specifications.
- Detect and correct malfunctions, refer questionable cases to supervision.
- Locate, issue and record raw materials, parts, tools and equipment from the maintenance tool crib.
- Operate forklift as required.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Follow standard or prescribed safety regulations.
