Job Summary:

The Ambassador Team Leader will provide day-to-day leadership and direct supervision of Ambassadors. Maintain consistent staffing levels; recruit, hire and train all staff. Provide coaching and counseling as needed. Complete probationary reports, yearly evaluations and conduct individual meetings if employee is not performing well. Hold monthly staff meetings and monthly one-on-one meetings. Oversees the completion of EPIC WQs. Ensures all patient signatures keep policies, procedures and cheat sheets up to date.

Liaison for meetings with internal departments that interact with Ambassadors. Maintain work schedule per union guidelines and coordinate time off for employees. Act as a leader providing positive reinforcement to employees.

Major responsibilities include: staff supervision, ensuring smooth visitor clearance and sign-in process, ensuring staff are providing excellent customer service and that staff are completing patient signatures who are in-house from Missing Signs WQ and responsible for overseeing way-finding and escorting of patients

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates degree and three (3) years relevant administrative experience (preferably in a hospital or healthcare related setting) or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Strong communication skills, ability to handle multiple priorities, excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with diverse patient populations in a stressful environment required. Prior supervisory experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a healthcare setting.

Work Days:

11a - 7:30p with needed availability to 10p. Rotating weekends.
