The Performance Lead for the Office of the Chief Operating Officer serves as the central support for the Chief of Staff to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the COO’s Office. This role reports to the Chief of Staff.

The base salary for this position is $93,000 to $121,000. For eligible employees, Equitable provides a full range of benefits. This includes medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off. For detailed descriptions of these benefits, please reference the link below.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Support preparation for all Board, Committee and senior leadership meetings. Preparation may include research, providing summaries and drafting talking points.
  • Analyze complex data to develop informed recommendations.
  • Track and monitor projects across the COO organization, including managing work streams, follow-up and action trackers.
  • Manage deliverables, and track OKRs to align with organizational goals.
  • Handle day-to-day administrative tasks, including audits and ad hoc research.
  • Play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency across the executive’s function.
Qualifications
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-driven, ability to develop and implement solutions with limited guidance.
  • High integrity, discretion, and ability to manage confidential information.
  • Comfortable navigating fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Proven ability to leverage Microsoft Office & Project, PowerPoint and Excel (including charts, graphs) to draft executive-level presentations.
  • Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes needed for making sound decisions.
  • Knowledge of business data analysis techniques to collect, identify, analyze and interpret business data.
  • Knowledge of communication tools and techniques for effective listening and communicating.
  • Knowledge of collaborative techniques to promote continuous improvement across functions.
  • Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of the organization’s vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics.
  • Knowledge of effective self-management practices to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities.
  • Knowledge of results orientation and ability to drive critical activities to completion.
