Compensation
- Base Salary: $27 - $33 per hour

, in Syracuse, NY. This person will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance on Kalmar and third-party equipment, ensuring peak performance through inspections and routine upkeep. - Equipment Maintenance & Repair
:
Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and Electronics diagnosis & repair of intermodal cargo handling equipment (Kalmar and other brands); regular preventative maintenance, as scheduled; evaluate and assist with warranty claims; - Customer Communication
:
Communicate with customers regarding the diagnosis and repair problems experienced in the field; conduct product training for the customer; maintain high level of customer satisfaction - Documentation
: complete detailed documentation (reports of labor, work orders, warranty documentation, inspections and maintenance logs) - Collaboration
: work with Product Engineering to develop solutions for operational problems in the field; communicate customer expectations, requirements and requests to the Sales, Product Engineering and Parts teams

Qualifications- Qualifications
:
Technical diploma/certificate preferred; high school diploma or GED required; must have valid driver’s license - Technical Expertise
:
Proven skills in troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and electronics and programmable logic controllers (PLC’s, preferably Siemens) for heavy equipment; ability to read/understand blueprints/schematics; able to work comfortably/safely at elevated heights; ability to use hand, air & electric hand tools - Preference will be given Veterans and candidates with maintenance/repair experience on the following brands of heavy equipment:
Kalmar, Taylor, MiJack and/or Remprex - Customer Focus
