:
Key Technician — Syracuse, NY

You are mechanical and electronically inclined, independent and motivated. You’ll work on high-security keys and complex transponder systems for today’s cars and trucks. You will:

• Accept an assigned route of dealers and other customers
• Produce duplicate keys and transponders that function like the originals
• Maintain equipment and inventory
• Submit invoices and work orders
• Develop positive, productive relationships with customers

Keys are a core part of our business, so we seek experienced Key Techs or people with the right attitude and drive who can complete our training course.

• Strong mechanical and electronic skills
• Sales and customer service experience
• Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, key duplication and transponder programming preferred
• Strong work ethic, self-motivation and the ability to work independently
• Toughness and grit to work outside in all kinds of weather
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

Starting compensation
: $24.00/hr – $28.00/hr

We offer a competitive and comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) match (50% on the dollar up to 7% of employee contribution).
