Custodial Worker , Temporary Part-Time

Onondaga Community College, located in Syracuse, NY, is a college of the State University of New York (SUNY) system and one of 30 locally sponsored community colleges throughout New York State. Onondaga County is our sponsor. We offer two-year degree programs that serve as transfer opportunities to baccalaureate degree programs at four-year campuses or for direct entry to the workforce. We also offer certificate programs that can generally be completed in one year.

Job Description:

Onondaga Community College invites applications for part-time Temporary Custodial Worker I positions as they become available. These positions can lead to full-time benefit-eligible Custodial Worker I positions at the College.

Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Working knowledge of the methods, materials, and equipment commonly used in custodial work. Ability to understand and follow simple oral and written instructions. Physical condition commensurate with the demands of this position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bilingual English and Spanish. English and another language will be considered. This is preferred but not required for this position.

Additional Information:

Salary: $18.00/hr this position is not benefits eligible.

Hours:

Up to 17 hours per week.
