—part‑time, 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm EST at Kasson Place Apartments, 615 James Street, Syracuse, NY 13203.

Maintain a clean, sanitary facility and surrounding grounds, ensuring a presentable environment for residents, employees, and visitors.

• Monitor and maintain building and grounds for cleanliness.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, polishing, vacuuming, and window cleaning throughout common areas.
• Maintain outdoor grounds as assigned by the Community Manager.
• Store cleaning supplies safely and properly.
• Disinfect restrooms, restock supplies, and maintain cleanliness in restrooms.
• Maintain hallways, laundry room, kitchen, trash areas, gathering rooms, and other common spaces.
• Remove and dispose of trash in designated areas.
• Assist with painting in common and outdoor areas as scheduled.
• Support maintenance team in routine apartment cleaning for move‑outs/move‑ins.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, batteries, or adjusting thermostats.
• Secure the building during and after work and report any security violations.
• Report major repair needs and emergency maintenance problems immediately.
• Adhere to all company policies, especially health and safety procedures.
• Follow written and verbal instructions for all tasks.
• Perform on‑call duties and snow removal as required.
• Travel to other Conifer locations if needed.
• Use reliable transportation to arrive on time.
• Attend the assigned work location(s) during scheduled hours.
• Complete additional cleaner duties and projects as assigned.

• Minimum 1 year of custodial or janitorial experience; apartment facility cleaning experience a plus.
• Effective communication skills and good customer service abilities.
• Good time‑management skills and flexibility to change tasks.
• Knowledge of environmental hazards and safety procedures.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• OSHA or similar hazardous‑materials training helpful.
• Ability to read and understand policies, training materials, and safety instructions.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Resourceful, proactive, and dedicated to maintaining a clean work environment.

Salary range: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour. Additional compensation may vary based on experience and other factors.
