HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Electronics Engineer to join our Warfare Systems group in Syracuse NY. The selected candidate will contribute to the design development and integration of advanced electronic systems that support national security missions. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a fast-paced innovation-driven environment and is motivated by solving complex technical challenges with real-world impact.

• Design develop and test electronic circuits subsystems and components for defense applications including communications radar sensing and embedded systems.
• Perform schematic capture PCB layout review component selection and systemlevel integration.
• Conduct simulations modeling and analysis to validate performance reliability and compliance with military standards.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams systems engineering software mechanical and manufacturing to ensure seamless integration of electronic hardware.
• Support prototype development troubleshooting and rootcause analysis during testing and field evaluations.
• Prepare technical documentation including design specifications test procedures and compliance reports.
• Ensure all designs meet rigorous security safety and environmental requirements (e.g. MILSTD EMI/EMC environmental hardening).
• Participate in design reviews risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.

• 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design embedded systems and signal processing.
• Experience with tools such as Altium SPICE MATLAB OrCAD or similar.
• Familiarity with military standards ruggedized electronics or secure system design.
• Handson experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes spectrum analyzers logic analyzers).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.

• Experience in RF systems highspeed digital design or power electronics.
• Background in defense aerospace or other highly regulated industries.
• Knowledge of embedded firmware or FPGA development.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles as applied to hardware systems.
• Active Secret Clearance
