The Payroll Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the Payroll Manager and Payroll Team to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing across the organization. This position is responsible for maintaining employee payroll data, assisting with payroll reporting, and supporting payroll operations using our HRIS and payroll platform (ADP). The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, service-driven, and thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

- Assist in processing employee late time sheets, time and attendance timecards and payroll reports from all systems used in both a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist employees with questions regarding payroll related issues.
- Completing verification of employment forms.
- Handling of garnishment entries
- processing of weekly planned and unplanned reports for all Home Health Aides.
- Demonstrate knowledge of quality assurance standards.
- Maintain both patient and employee confidentiality.
- Demonstrate knowledge and use of any active Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA).
- Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor and/or department director.
- Associate’s degree preferred, high school diploma with relevant payroll experience required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Human Resources/Payroll systems (ADP experience strongly preferred).
- Proficiency with 10 key calculators.
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast‑paced work environment.
- Excellent oral, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to sit or stand at a desk 90% of the day.
- Visual/hearing ability sufficient to comprehend written or verbal communication.
- Ability to express self verbally and in writing.
- Ability to use telephone and communicate over the phone.
- Frequently uses a laptop computer to enter orders and obtain product information.
- Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Category III - Employee who rarely has contact with blood and body fluids.
This position is an H08 non-exempt position with a min‑max rate of: $22.86 - $28.57/hour.
