Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Room Attendant to join our team at our state‑of‑the‑art 513‑bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Syracuse, New York. As a Laundry Room Attendant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our residents by ensuring the laundry services are performed with the highest standard of quality and efficiency.

• Wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry items for residents and staff
• Manage and maintain the cleanliness of the laundry room and surrounding areas
• Operate industrial laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and presses
• Sort and prioritize laundry items according to urgency and priority
• Maintain accurate records of laundry services performed and supplies used
• Collaborate with the laundry team to ensure efficient and effective laundry operations
• Follow established infection control and safety protocols

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

• $16.25 Hourly rate
