Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER)
Location: Syracuse, NY
Shift: Night Shift – 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for the Adult Emergency Department. Candidates should be comfortable working with both adult and pediatric patient populations in a fast-paced acute care environment. Level I or Level II trauma experience is strongly preferred. This position requires working night shifts, including every other weekend and select holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a busy Emergency Department setting.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and deliver appropriate clinical interventions.

• Manage care for adult and pediatric patients in an acute care environment.

• Utilize EPIC Electronic Medical Records for documentation and patient management.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure effective patient care.

• Perform the majority of patient care skills with minimal orientation and supervision.

• Maintain strong communication with patients, families, and team members.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of New York.

• BLS certification (must be current or eligible for recertification).

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience (within the last 2 years) in a hospital of similar size and level.

• Experience working in Level I or Level II Trauma Centers preferred.

• Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred.

• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Must have no history of professional license suspension or investigation.

• Must not have been named as a defendant in a professional liability claim.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Must successfully complete pre-employment health screening, drug screening, and criminal background check.
