Federal Study - Cytopathology -Study Position

Overview

The Cytopathology Work-Study position involves assisting with a variety of Cytology laboratory activities, including general laboratory maintenance (slide filing, transporting samples within the department, scanning documents), compiling teaching slide sets, and data entry for record keeping, and assisting with organizing laboratory documents.

• Assist with general laboratory maintenance activities (slide filing, transporting samples within the department, scanning documents).
• Compile teaching slide sets and perform data entry for record keeping.
• Assist with organizing laboratory documents.

Must be a current student enrolled at Upstate Medical University and approved for financial aid through the Student Financial Aid office at Upstate.

Work Days: M-F 9-5, negotiable based on class schedule

$17/hour

This Federal Work Study position is available to current Upstate Medical University students who have been approved for and accepted Federal Work Study through the Financial Aid Office.
