Patient Dining Associates work on assigned units, helping patients with menu selections, assembling, delivering, and collecting meal trays. They are key to patient safety and satisfaction by ensuring accurate and timely meal delivery.

• Assist patients with menu understanding and coordinate with nursing for dietary needs.
• Work with the culinary team to accommodate allergies, sensitivities, and cultural preferences.
• Manage tray tickets, assemble meals accurately, and retrieve trays at scheduled times.
• Comply with regulatory standards, confidentiality, and HIPAA policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines for food handling and sanitation.
• Support dietitians in monitoring patients on special diets.
• Report issues to appropriate personnel promptly.
• Complete required reports and adhere to health and sanitation regulations.
• Perform other assigned duties.

• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to lift or move up to 100 pounds occasionally and maneuver carts.
