Mental Health Clinician; LMSW​/LMHC

Elevate mental health care with our client as a Mental Health Clinician (LMSW/LMHC) in Syracuse, NY, delivering comprehensive therapy, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care. Ideal for a skilled professional in behavioral health treatment, this role involves conducting assessments, leading therapy sessions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient well-being and continuity of care.

Compensation: $40 – $44/hour

Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

• Mental Health Assessment & Counseling: Conduct intake evaluations, individual counseling, and group therapy sessions.
• Crisis Intervention & Trauma-Informed Care: Utilize de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques to support individuals in distress.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work alongside treatment teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Patient Progress Monitoring: Maintain accurate documentation, including progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Safe & Therapeutic Environment: Foster a structured setting that promotes rehabilitation and well-being.
• Transition Planning & Referrals: Coordinate post-release services to ensure continuity of care.

• Licensure: LMSW or LMHC required.
• Experience: Background in corrections, inpatient psychiatric units, or working with severely mentally ill populations.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with Fusion EMR or similar electronic medical records systems.
• Skills & Attributes: Strong crisis intervention and trauma-informed care experience, with the ability to make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment.
