Deliver specialized emergency care to pediatric patients at an Acute Care/Academic Medical Center in Syracuse. This high-acuity role requires expertise in pediatric emergency medicine within a dedicated trauma center environment.

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (RN)
• Licensure: Active NY State RN License;
  Current BLS & PALS and ACLS preferred
• Experience: 2+ years of recent high-acuity Pediatric ER experience;
  Experience in an Adult Emergency Department is a plus, but not required;
  Candidates with experience limited to combined Adult/Pediatric Emergency Departments will not be considered;
  Level 1/2 Trauma Center experience strongly preferred

• Soft Skills: Superior clinical assessment, critical thinking, and rapid decision-making

• Triage and stabilize pediatric emergencies
• Manage high-acuity cases in fast-paced trauma settings
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary trauma teams
• Administer specialized pediatric interventions
• Document care using the EPIC EMR system
• Provide family-centered crisis support
• Maintain readiness for pediatric resuscitation events
