Duties
  • Perform ultrasound scans on patients using specialized equipment
  • Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them
  • Position patients correctly to obtain accurate images
  • Adjust equipment settings to optimize image quality
  • Analyze images and provide preliminary findings to physicians
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of information
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
  • Certification or registration as an Ultrasonographer
  • Proficiency in performing various ultrasound scans, including abdominal, pelvic, vascular, and musculoskeletal
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to ultrasound imaging
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret images
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and other relevant software

Base Pay:
From $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
