Pay Rate: $65,000-$70,000 Annually
Schedule: M-F: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Our focus is supporting individuals by ways of residential housing, mental health and clinical services, and immersing our participants in community engagement. Working closely with the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities and the Office of Mental Health, we support 27 housing locations and 3 administrative buildings.
The Role
We are looking for a proactive employee to provide crisis intervention services, including evaluations, clinical assessments, and delivery of therapy and/or behavioral supports.
Responsibilities- Provide crisis intervention services that may include completion of evaluations, clinical assessments, delivery of therapeutic support and/or behavior supports
- Conduct ongoing assessments of a participant’s social needs, psychiatric status, and vocational and housing conditions at times of crisis
- Draft behavior or treatment support plans for implementation during crisis and monitor participant’s ongoing crisis recovery
- Conduct supportive clinical services, either in-person, in-home, or in other community settings; by telephone or by teletherapy, or by a combination of methods, as needed and as appropriate
- Follow a trauma informed care approach when providing support and intervention
- Provide consultation and support to participants, families, planning teams and identified supports, proactively and during times of crisis
- Respond to crisis situations using good judgement through prevention, intervention, resolution, and reporting, to ensure the safety and well-being of the participant
- Participate in the staff on-call rotation
- Coordinate psychological care and behavioral programs with relevant stakeholders in participant’s circles of support
- Responsible for a caseload, as needed, providing case management in addition to clinical responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and timely service records for participants supported
- Conduct self in a professional manner
- Provide person-centered, quality, services
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as with company policies
- Perform Other Duties as Assigned
Licensable master’s degree in social work or mental health counseling, required. Applicant must be currently eligible for a limited permit and must obtain licensure within one year of employment. One year of experience working with adults with developmental disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses, preferred.
Conditions Of EmploymentMust have a valid NYS Driver License in accordance with the Agency Vehicle and Driving policy and transportation necessary to meet program needs. Must respect confidentiality. Must be able to perform duties with repetitive motion. Must have a moderately flexible schedule. Must be available for occasional early morning, late evening, or weekend functions; and on-call for bona fide emergencies. Must be able and willing to demonstrate direct care duties, including personal assistance.
