Shift: Day Shift | 3x12-Hour (07:00 – 19:30)
ESO Consultants is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurses (LVN/LPN) to join the Adult Psychiatric Unit at Upstate University Hospital. This role requires strong behavioral health nursing skills and the flexibility to float to other psychiatric units as needed. Unit placement will be determined based on prior experience.
Requirements
- Active New York State LPN/LVN license (Required)
Certifications:
- BLS Certification (Required)
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care hospital experience (Level I/II preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of Behavioral Health/Psychiatric experience (Required – no exceptions)
- IV Therapy experience (Required)
- Ability to read telemetry strips (Required)
- Experience floating within hospital units (Preferred)
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to work every other weekend
- Must be available for some holiday shifts
- At least one supervisor reference required at submission
Compensation: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
