This position performs a mix of store/equipment maintenance and general laborer work. Incumbents are responsible for a variety of clerical and manual activities related to equipment management, minor PM, and the receiving, storing and issuing of cleaning chemicals, products and materials that would be drawn from the storeroom. May also be responsible for maintenance/cleaning of various equipment used by the department such as: vacuums, wet vacs, auto scrubbers, pallets/scales for linen, etc.
and ensuring proper working conditions of equipment. May also be asked to take down tables and chairs as needed. Responsible for ordering/receiving of materials supplies, products and linens as needed. Organizes and cleans the equipment storage rooms for the department. Occasionally may be asked to help out with the delivery of clean linen and the picking up of any soiled linens/materials across the hospital/campus.
Must possess & maintain a valid NYS driver's license.
No education or experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications Work ScheduleSchedule based on a 40 hour work week. 7:00am-3:30pm, Tuesday-Saturday. Located at the Downtown Campus.
