Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Therapy/Rehabilitation team. This role requires strong acute care and outpatient experience and offers a supportive, collaborative work environment focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities- Provide Occupational Therapy treatments as prescribed by a physician
- Perform evaluations and establish individualized treatment goals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, patients, and families
- Complete documentation, record-keeping, and required reports in a timely manner
- Participate in clinic rounds, conferences, and patient care meetings
- Educate and support patient families on care processes and progress
- Maintain therapy equipment and inventory
- Participate in staff education and training initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Active New York State Occupational Therapy license (or license‑eligible at time of application)
- Minimum 2 years of Occupational Therapy experience
- Must include acute care and outpatient experience
- NBCOT Certification
- Active New York State OT License
- Acute care and adult outpatient expertise
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Strong organizational and documentation accuracy
- Active NY license required to submit
- Must have at least two years of specialty‑specific experience
- Facility‑wide compliance requirement also applies to RNs, RRTs, CNAs, and LPNs
At least one supervisor reference required with application
Compensation: $58.00 per hour
