Job Summary
Obtain patient demographic information and enter into EPIC system, complete check‑in process, obtain required signatures and collect co‑payments. Balance daily payment entries against daily computer totals for all activities on the patient account. Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by supervisor. Broad knowledge of all insurance carriers, computer literate, self‑starter. Excellent customer‑service skills required. At least 1 year experience working in a medical office setting.
Minimum QualificationsHigh school degree or equivalent and two years clerical support in a medical billing setting. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred QualificationsWork days:
Monday – Friday varying 8‑hour shifts between 6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
