Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design, manufacture, program, and test a wide variety of industrial control systems. This role involves working with PLCs, SCADA, motion control, vision systems, and computer‑based control platforms. The ideal candidate will be hands‑on, customer‑focused, and comfortable managing projects from concept through commissioning while maintaining compliance with our quality program.
Key Responsibilities- Design, fabricate, and test industrial control panels, including process control systems, servo systems, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and operator interfaces (HMIs).
- Perform preliminary engineering, prepare cost quotes, and develop project schedules.
- Design and program PLC, SCADA, and computer‑based control systems.
- Interface directly with customers to define requirements, provide technical support, and deliver training.
- Provide installation supervision, system debugging, startup support, and commissioning assistance.
- Maintain accurate project cost accounting in accordance with established procedures.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including drawings and technical records.
- Modify drawings, correct design or production issues, and support manufacturing and testing activities.
- Test completed systems, fabricate parts and panels as required, and support production teams.
- Maintain existing customer relationships and assist in developing new customer accounts.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned by management.
- At least five years of experience in industrial controls engineering, including PLCs, SCADA, motion control, and process control systems.
- Strong understanding of control panel design, electrical schematics, and industrial automation standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and customer interaction.
- Hands‑on troubleshooting, debugging, and commissioning experience.
Strong communication skills with the ability to train and support customers. - Detail‑oriented with a commitment to quality and accurate documentation.
