Key Responsibilities Perform detailed outside plant facility engineering tasks including estimating, designing, and planning for copper and fiber cables Prepare and interpret engineering plans, drawings, and reports while tracking job budgets and conducting quality control inspections Collaborate with multiple groups to design network elements and write project implementations for Fiber to the Home, Copper DSL, and other solutions
Required Qualifications Ability to identify existing utilities on site plans and in the field Experience managing OSP Engineers and reviewing their projects Expert knowledge of COE/OSP principles and work order procedures Must possess own tools necessary for field measurements and assessments Understanding of the National Electric Safety Code (NESC) for engineering requirements
