Job Details

Position Summary
The Senior Structural Engineer provides technical leadership in the planning, analysis, design, and delivery of structural systems for building and infrastructure projects. This role ensures structural designs are safe, efficient, code-compliant, and well coordinated with architectural and engineering disciplines.

Essential Job Functions

• Lead structural design and analysis from concept through construction, including calculations, material selection, specifications, and technical reports.
• Provide technical oversight, mentorship, and quality review of work performed by junior and mid-level engineers and designers.
• Develop and coordinate structural construction documents using Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Perform field investigations and site visits to assess existing structures and verify construction compliance.
• Serve as the primary structural engineering contact; participate in client meetings and respond to RFIs and submittals.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, applicable codes, and regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license in New York State.
• 10+ years of experience, or associate's degree with 15+ years of related experience.
• Experience with k-12 educational projects within a consulting environment.
• Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license.
