Fisher Associates is headquartered in Rochester, NY with eight nationwide locations and offers multidisciplinary design services across civil/site, transportation, electrical, landscape architecture, architecture, planning, environmental, surveying, GIS, construction inspection, precast engineering and construction engineering for public and private sector clients.

• Deliver transportation projects that improve mobility, safety, and quality of life.

• Oversee design and execution of highway engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations and client requirements.
• Serve as technical lead, guiding the team on best practices, decisions and troubleshooting.
• Implement and oversee quality control processes and technical audits.
• Maintain effective communication with project managers, clients and cross‑functional teams.
• Ensure effective resource allocation, adequate staffing and utilization to meet goals.
• Assist in recruiting top engineering talent.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay current with transportation design trends and emerging technologies, integrating them into solutions.

$110,000‑$170,000 annually

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
• 8‑15 years of experience in civil transportation engineering
• Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred or ability to obtain
• Prior staff management preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office;
  Micro Station preferred
• Familiarity with NYDOT design standards preferred
