- Oversee design and execution of highway engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations and client requirements.
- Serve as technical lead, guiding the team on best practices, decisions and troubleshooting.
- Implement and oversee quality control processes and technical audits.
- Maintain effective communication with project managers, clients and cross‑functional teams.
- Ensure effective resource allocation, adequate staffing and utilization to meet goals.
- Assist in recruiting top engineering talent.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay current with transportation design trends and emerging technologies, integrating them into solutions.

$110,000‑$170,000 annually
Requirements- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
- 8‑15 years of experience in civil transportation engineering
- Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred or ability to obtain
- Prior staff management preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office;
Micro Station preferred - Familiarity with NYDOT design standards preferred
