I and C Engineer - Intermediate (Data Centers)
Apply for the I and C Engineer - Intermediate (Data Centers) role s position supports the design, implementation, and optimization of instrumentation and control systems for data center facilities, ensuring reliable operation and high performance of critical infrastructure.
Base pay range$69,500.00/yr - $95,500.00/yr
Responsibilities• Lead and coordinate engineering tasks to meet project schedule and quality objectives.
• Provide on‑site assistance during startup and commissioning of control systems.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver complete, world‑class solutions for new facilities.
• Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document and model design information while ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.
• Produce control system designs for a variety of processes and develop options and optimizations for all aspects of process control, instrumentation, and automation.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a highly interactive, multidisciplinary team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering
- At least 2 years of experience working with Instrumentation and Control
- Working knowledge of DDC, PLC, DCS, and other controls applications preferred
- Experience working with Data Centers
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Forward‑thinking and eager to learn best practices, contributing with innovative ideas
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and drive broadening of knowledge base
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in multi‑disciplinary teams
- Passion for buildings and construction
