Hidden Level is transforming airspace safety with innovative, scalable drone detection and airspace technology. We provide real-time, actionable data to enhance security across various environments. As we expand, we're looking for an RF Engineer to join our team to help us accelerate our product development initiatives.

Location: This position is onsite in Syracuse, NY office, with the potential for hybrid arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Derive and document RF system requirements working collaboratively with multiple technical disciplines
• Develop innovative RF subsystem and system architectures
• Simulate, model, design, select and characterize components
• Design, implement, test, and integrate RF circuit cards and subsystems for use in our cutting-edge communications, radar, and other sensor systems
• Participate in cross-functional technical design reviews
• Perform and support integration and test activities and events
• Support or perform project planning, execution, and oversight
• Provide mentorship to junior staff

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of professional experience
• Demonstrated skills in software simulation platforms such as Ansys HFSS, Matlab, or Python
• 10% travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience and interest in one or more of the following areas:
• Antennas and Phased Arrays
• Receivers
• Exciters
• Simulation
• Anechoic Chamber Measurements
• Schematic Capture
• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

Compensation and Benefits: Hidden Level offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid parental leave, flexible time off, 401(k) with employer contributions, life insurance, and disability insurance. The company also provides a remote or hybrid work environment and potential stock options.

Salary Range:
The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $109,000 to $136,000 annually. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Hidden Level considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer
