Job Description:
The Humanities Department at Onondaga Community College is inviting applications from qualified individuals to teach Introductory Composition and Second-level Composition, with an emphasis on literature.
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree in English or a relevant discipline from an accredited institution or foreign equivalent.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience teaching at a community college.
Additional Information:
- The adjunct pay rate for the 2025/26 academic year is $1,483 per credit hour. Classes will be assigned as needed based on enrollment.
- Adjuncts are eligible to participate in the NYS Teacher's Retirement System.
