Job Summary:
Faculty position for investigators with proven skills in conducting original research in the field of developmental neuroscience. Candidates must have a strong record of innovative research, impactful publications, extramural funding aligned with their career stage, and a clear vision for long-term growth of their research program in developmental Neuroscience, including performing research in model organisms and non-animal models. Areas of research that complement the interests of current faculty (e.g. neural development, cytoskeleton and extracellular matrix, cell and mechano-biology, molecular genetics) are preferred.
Experience with advanced imaging techniques is essential; the selected candidate will manage the Neuroscience Microscopy Core (NMC) facility. Research will additionally be supported by state-of-the-art genomics and proteomics facilities.
The candidate will carry the title of Assistant Professor in the Department of Neuroscience & Physiology, and join a vibrant Neuroscience community of more than 40 research labs.
Minimum qualifications- PhD or MD degree and current NIH funding.
- Experience with advanced imaging techniques.
- Experience in core facility management.
