Job Description:
The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences seeks candidates to teach Introductory Sustainability courses for the Fall 2025 semester.
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in Sustainability, Natural Resources, Environmental Studies, Environmental Science, or Agricultural Science from an accredited institution or foreign equivalent.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- College teaching experience.
- Work experience in the field of Sustainability.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred; proficiency in English and another language will be considered.
Additional Information:
- The adjunct pay rate for the 2025/26 academic year is $1,483 per credit hour. Classes will be scheduled based on enrollment needs.
- Adjuncts are eligible to participate in the NYS Teacher's Retirement System.
