Job Description:

The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences seeks candidates with expertise in one or more areas to teach introductory and intermediate History courses for the  academic year.

Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in History or a related field from an accredited institution or foreign equivalent.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience teaching at the college level.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.

Additional Information:

  • The adjunct pay rate for  is $1,483 per credit hour. Courses will be assigned based on enrollment needs.
  • Adjuncts are eligible to participate in the NYS Teacher's Retirement System.
