Job Description:
The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences seeks candidates with expertise in one or more areas to teach introductory and intermediate History courses for the academic year.
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in History or a related field from an accredited institution or foreign equivalent.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience teaching at the college level.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
Additional Information:
- The adjunct pay rate for is $1,483 per credit hour. Courses will be assigned based on enrollment needs.
- Adjuncts are eligible to participate in the NYS Teacher's Retirement System.
