Pathology Associates of Syracuse has an opening for an AP/CP board certified/eligible pathologist to join our collegial group of four pathologists and three pathologists' assistants.
Pathology Associates is a hospital based private pathology group that serves Crouse Health, a not-for-profit 506 bed tertiary care facility, and its affiliated providers. There is a diverse mixture of surgical, autopsy, oncological, cytopathology, and hematopathology. Our certified pathologists' assistants provide support for surgical pathology, frozen sections and autopsy pathology. Fellowship training and certification (if applicable) in surgical pathology, hematopathology, cytopathology, dermatopathology or other subspecialties is advantageous.
While previous experience is preferred (3-5 years), new graduates will also be considered. Ability to obtain a NYS medical license is required.
Upstate New York offers affordable living, ample opportunities for outdoor activities and recreation (summer and winter), and it is in close proximity to large metropolitan cities by car or short flights; the airport is serviced by United, American , Delta and Jet Blue.
