Commonspace is a shared workspace and living community built around connection, inclusion, and thoughtful work. We’re looking for a Community Administrator who is exceptional with people
, highly organized, and takes real pride in creating a welcoming, well-run space. This is an in-person role for someone who loves being at the center of things: welcoming members, keeping the space running smoothly, and creating a professional, friendly atmosphere.

Starting Salary Range is 42 - 45K+ depending on experience with lots of potential to grow

What You’ll Do

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Community & Guest Experience
  • Warmly welcome members, guests, and visitors, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for coworking members and prospective members
  • Give thoughtful, personalized tours of Commonspace Work and Commonspace Live apartments
  • Listen closely to guests’ and members’ needs and tailor tours and conversations accordingly
  • Follow up with prospective members in a friendly, non-pushy way
  • Build genuine relationships and help people feel known and valued
  • Address questions, concerns, or issues promptly, calmly, and positively
  • Act as a concierge — helping people navigate the space and connect with resources or people
Admin & Operations
  • Respond to incoming emails, calls, inquiries, and tour requests
  • Onboard new coworking members (accounts, billing, access, welcome communication)
  • Manage membership agreements and report delinquency as needed
  • Maintain a hospitality-level standard of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation:
    Coffee station stocked and welcoming;
    Common areas tidy, calm, and near-perfect
  • Perform walkthroughs of coworking and residential common areas
  • Assist members with basic tech, printing, and account questions
  • Maintain proficiency in operations software
  • Ensure music, lighting, and overall atmosphere align with the Commonspace experience
  • Any and all office related tasks such as purchasing, handling mail, submitting maintenance requests, etc.
Events, Content & Growth
  • Support member-led events and gatherings
  • Help plan and assist with Commonspace events
  • Contribute to newsletters, emails, and social media
  • Help spread the word about Commonspace through partnerships, content, and outreach
  • Suggest creative ways to grow the community
Commonspace Live (Apartments)
  • Help respond to inquiries from prospective apartment residents
  • Give in-person tours of Commonspace Live apartments
  • Answer basic questions and direct prospects to appropriate team members when needed
  • Serve as a friendly, helpful in person contact for current residential tenants
  • Conduct routine walkthroughs of residential common areas and report maintenance or cleaning needs
