About Foundation HousingFoundation Housing develops, designs, renovates, and operates residential properties with a long-term ownership mindset.
We do not flip projects — we build, operate, and continuously improve the communities ourselves.
We are vertically integrated across development, construction, design, and operations, and we are scaling from 300 beds to 3,000 beds over the next 3–5 years
.
This is not incremental growth. It is a real opportunity to help build the systems behind a rapidly expanding platform.
About the RoleWe are hiring a Procurement & Asset Manager to help build and manage the infrastructure behind our construction and design operations.
This role is responsible for purchasing and asset coordination across:
- Construction and building materials
- Design-specified finishes selected by our in-house design team
- Furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E)
- Finished house inventory packages
- Tools and shared job site assets
This is not a clerical purchasing role. We are looking for someone who wants to take ownership, improve systems, and grow with a company that is getting bigger quickly.
If procurement is inconsistent, projects slow down and margins shrink. This role directly impacts execution speed, cost control, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities- Manage purchasing across multiple active construction projects
- Negotiate vendor pricing and supplier agreements
- Standardize materials and SKUs where appropriate
- Coordinate deliveries and maintain visibility across job sites
- Execute procurement tied to design selections and finish packages
- Oversee FF&E ordering and finished inventory tracking
- Track tools, equipment, and shared assets
- Build and maintain clean procurement reporting systems
- Identify inefficiencies and improve execution
- Experience in procurement, supply chain, construction operations, or a related field
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Ability to manage multiple moving projects at once
- High comfort level with Excel and digital tracking tools
- Organized, direct, and accountable communication
- Construction materials purchasing experience
- FF&E or furniture inventory coordination experience
- Multi-site operational experience
- Familiarity with construction terminology and workflows
Most roles like this are built to maintain an existing system. This one is different. We are still building the system.
That means the right person will have real influence over how procurement, inventory, and asset management are structured as the company scales.
As we grow, strong performers will have access to increased responsibility, leadership opportunities, and financial upside. We reward performance — not tenure.
