About the Opportunity

A growing civil construction contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale public infrastructure and heavy highway projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on field leader who can independently run projects from start to finish while managing crews, subcontractors, and schedules in fast-paced environments.

Projects primarily include transportation and public works infrastructure, including bridges, earthwork, drainage, and structural concrete scopes ranging from $1M-$30M.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all onsite construction activities for heavy civil/highway projects
• Manage daily field operations, crews, and subcontractors (5-12 personnel typical)
• Maintain project schedules and coordinate closely with Project Managers
• Procure materials and coordinate site logistics
• Conduct quality control inspections and enforce safety standards
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Manage multiple trades and maintain accountability across subcontractors
• Utilize tablets/apps for daily reporting and timekeeping

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of concrete, structural steel, and site development coordination
