SalaryBased on experience; will be discussed with manager during interview.
Requirement- Must be a U.S. citizen and pass a federal background review and drug screen.
- Oversee construction management of ongoing construction projects and renovations.
- Review contractor’s Quality Assurance Plan.
- Oversee and perform three-phase inspections and surveillance of construction work to ensure compliance with contract and specifications.
- Review design, comment logging and back-checking for Design-Build projects.
- Monitor submittals utilizing a submittal status log.
- Review and comment on the accuracy of the construction contractor’s requests for payment.
- Review and acknowledge daily reports including verification of the project schedule by indicating the activities worked on that day and the activities behind schedule.
- Maintain orderly working files for correspondence, minutes of meetings and conferences, payments, updated progress schedules, monthly progress reports, punch lists, and field changes.
- Review and process Requests for Information (RFI) and contract documents including amendments, notices to proceed, change orders, modifications, and other locally generated documents developed during construction.
- Support construction contract modifications.
- Perform critical path schedule review.
- 7+ years of engineering and construction management experience.
- Experience with construction administration and capability of handling large projects.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering.
- US Army Corps of Engineers or不足 other federal project experience preferred.
- Experience with Resident Management System (RMS) preferred.
- Experience reading construction plans and specifications.
- Good written communication and organizational skills.
- Physically mobile in and around construction sites and field assignments.
- Enjoy working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
