Sales Director – HVAC/Controls Distribution

Location: Syracuse, NY

Base Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year

Additional Compensation: Annual bonus

We are looking for an experienced Sales Director to manage our distribution network and an internal team of two. The role focuses on selling our products through distribution channels to hotels, restaurants, and related venues. Travel will be minimal, limited to occasional trade shows and distributor site visits.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and motivate the distribution and internal sales teams.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Build strong relationships with distribution partners.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategy.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals with key customers.
• Prepare sales forecasts and reports for senior management.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
• Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office.
• Time management and ability to work independently.
• Customer service and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activities.
• Experience in the HVAC/Controls industries.
