Position: Executive Assistant to the Director in Hospital Administration
Location: City of Syracuse

Overview

The Executive Administrative Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to the Director in Hospital Administration. This role requires a highly organized individual with excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and the discretion to handle sensitive information. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while managing the day-to-day operations and supporting the strategic goals of the department.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree and two years of experience or Associate's degree with four years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high-performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt to an ever-changing and dynamic environment and can easily shift focus when urgent matters arise.
  • Competency to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), Visio.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an executive assistant or in a similar administrative role.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Discretion and integrity when handling confidential information.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.
Work Days

Monday-Friday, Days with some weekend nights and evenings
