Overview
In addition to the routine duties of the Billing Clerk, including charge and payment posting, submission of insurance forms, maintenance of files and records, and answering charge and insurance related patient questions, this position is more involved in researching and documenting issues that depart from established procedures as well as following up on accurate receivables. May direct the work of some billing clerks ensuring that procedures are followed.

- May direct the work of some billing clerks to ensure procedures are followed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of clerical support in a medical billing setting
- Ability to work independently with speed and accuracy
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Competency in position-specific computer software applications
- Will consider an equivalent combination of education and experience
Monday–Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm; paid bi-weekly
