Job Summary:
Provide administrative assistance to the Director of Radiology in coordinating the schedule and meetings; typing correspondence; acts as a liaison between the Director and all inside/outside business contacts. Responsible for and entrusted with the organization and maintenance of a variety of highly confidential personnel and payroll files and matters, requiring a high and unwavering level of discretion. Also assist the other Assistant Directors with coordinating meetings;
composing routine correspondence; prepare and process all travel requests, reservations and expense reimbursements; maintain all departmental personnel files; staff time‑off requests; track and maintain all technical employee licenses, training and ARRT registrations to ensure compliance with NYS DOH regulations. accreditation and MQSA regulatory filings.
Responsible for departmental HR functions including all staffing requests, reclassifications, job descriptions, position questionnaires, position justifications, salary/position reviews, career ladder moves, salary/position reviews.
This position will manage the Radiology billing/authorizations group, including timesheets, time off requests, performance evaluations and disciplinary actions when necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:Associate’s degree and 5-7 years of relevant administrative experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, highly proficient in MS word and excel.
Preferred Qualifications:Supervisory experience; database creation and maintenance.
Work Days:40 hrs./week, Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:00. May be required to work overtime based on Director’s/departmental needs.
