Job Overview

Reporting to the Operations Program Manager, this position primarily supports Syracuse University’s engagement within the Future‑Ready Workforce Innovation Consortium and the Northeast University Semiconductor Network. The role focuses on administrative support, communications, and project coordination for workforce development initiatives related to advanced manufacturing for both the Consortium and the Network.

Education and Experience
  • 2+ years relevant professional experience.
  • Proven track record of effectively interacting with executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments and external organizations.
  • Effective, versatile and action‑oriented.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects across various audiences and leadership levels.
  • Excellent critical thinking, judgment, and decision‑making ability.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience designing compelling presentations and reports.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage high‑volume workloads.
  • Intermediate research and analysis abilities.
  • Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities Administrative
  • Develop and maintain presentations and shared documentation for the Workforce Consortium and the Northeast Network.
  • Coordinate logistics for remote and in‑person meetings (schedules, room reservations, catering, parking, etc.).
  • Maintain member lists for all groups, subgroups, and project teams.
Communications
  • Draft, proof, send, and track regular communications (newsletters, summaries, etc.).
  • Manage correspondence supporting meetings and events.
  • Develop and manage surveys.
Project Coordination
  • Track and report on projects of Consortium and Network members from ideation through implementation.
  • Track and report on funding requests for projects.
  • Manage a common project data management system for both the Consortium and the Network.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
