Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team in Syracuse, New York. This is a Contract to permanent opportunity that requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and analytical skills. The role involves managing financial transactions and supporting various accounting processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

- Process and manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions accurately.

- Prepare and send invoices, handling a volume of 50-100 invoices per month.

- Reconcile accounts and bank statements to ensure financial accuracy.

- Assist in generating financial reports and performing data entry tasks.

- Coordinate and handle wire transfers and other organizational transactions.

- Maintain organized and precise financial records and documentation.

- Support month-end and year-end closing activities to meet deadlines.

- Utilize accounting software, such as Sage 100, and intermediate Excel skills to complete tasks efficiently.

- Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies. Requirements - Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

- Proficiency in accounting software, with Sage 100 experience preferred.

- Competence in using Quick Books for financial tasks.

- Intermediate Excel skills, including formulas and spreadsheet management.

- Experience in processing invoices and handling a high volume of transactions.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.

- Ability to work collaboratively with vendors, clients, and team members.

- Solid organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
